[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights and New Arrivals This Week, 4/16-22 and Feathers Over Freeport schedule

Hi all,

Some more sightings of note over the past seven days included:
- 3 Wilson's Snipe and 4 American Woodcocks, Pineland Farms, New Gloucester, 4/16 (with Woodcocks Gone Wild tour group).
- 2 Gray Jays, 1 White-winged Crossbill, etc, Boy Scout Road, Rangeley, 4/18 (with Jeannette). 
- 110 Palm Warblers, 40 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 25+ Ruby-crowned Kinglets, 13 Eastern Phoebes, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 Rusty Blackbird, etc, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 4/19 (with Anna Stunkel).
- 6 Gadwall, 52 Green-winged Teal, 300 American Black Ducks, 200+ Red-breasted Mergansers, etc, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 4/19.
- 60+ Palm Warblers, 30+ Yellow-rumped Warblers, 22 Ring-necked Ducks, 2 Blue-headed Vireos (FOY), 2 Rusty Blackbirds, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, etc, Florida Lake Park, 4/21.
- 26 Glossy Ibis, Maquoit Bay from Rossmore Road, Brunswick, 4/21. 

And my other personal First of Years this week included:
- 2 Greater Yellowlegs, Wolfe's Neck Farm, Freeport, 4/16 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 4 Swamp Sparrows, Florida Lake Park, 4/17 (with Serena Doose).
- 3 Laughing Gulls, Pemaquid Point, 4/22.
- 1 Brown Thrasher, Pemaquid Point, 4/22. 

And finally, the schedule for the 5th Annual Feathers Over Freeport: A Birdwatching Weekend will take place at Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park on Saturday, April 30th and at Bradbury Mountain State Park on Sunday, May 1st. The full schedule of events can be seen here:
