[Maine-birds] Re: Help with duck ID

My neighbor had domesticated ducks he kept for eggs, and they looked very much like these.  I think there are almost infinite varieties/hybrids.  A little like tomatoes.  They stayed clumped, heads very high on long necks, dull brown, similar bill.  Crazy about water.  The kiddy pool he had for them went from clear to coffee colored in less than a day.
