Visitors:
None visitors.
Weather:
Not a very pleasant day in Pownal, Maine:) Count was delayed by 2 hours due to rain. After 2 hours of counting (looking), fog and heavy mist became too obtrusive and I headed down to my car to dry out and read of few chapters of The Control of Nature. At about 3:20, the fog and mist lifted enough for me to head up. After 30 min searching the skies, the next wave of rain rolled in and I called it a day.
Raptor Observations:
None raptors.
Non-raptor Observations:
1 intrepid American Goldfinch was seen flying north. 11 species were detected from the summit.
Predictions:
Tomorrow will be dry. Moderate to strong northwest winds. Mostly sunny skies.
