[Maine-birds] Counting birds using software an a photo

Evening folks,

Some of you might recall a few weeks ago Steve Mirick posted a quiz on the number of birds in a photograph on the New Hampshire bird list. I received a number of emails inquiring about the software that I used to automatically count the birds in the photo. I had a bit of free time this morning, so I completed the write-up on using a free software program to count birds.
