I did a day trip out to Monhegan yesterday and not much to add but we did see 25-30 Great Shearwaters on the ride out to the island from New Harbor in the morning and an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull about three-quarters of the way across.

Subject: [Maine-birds] Monhegan Island Week Report (Golden-winged Warbler, blog)
Hey everyone:
Not a lot to add to the Monhegan notes since Kristen's posts except an adult male Golden-winged Warbler found by Paul Miliotis on the 23rd.
I've posted a complete summary of birds reported this past week from the island to: monheganbirds.com
Check back often for updates during the migration season.
Good birding,
