[Maine-birds] Re: Bangor Daily News column

Thanks for the fine little article on discovering birds in a foreign land, Bob. To highlight why I sometimes feel like I live in a foreign country, here is a list of "Similar articles" that the Bangor Daily News offers at the bottom of yours:

Maine has been discovered — by drug dealers
Three men facing drug charges after officials raid meth lab
Another baby overdosed on 10-year-old homicide suspect's medication, former roommate
Medway man charged in brutal attack on Greenbush woman remains jailed
Teen Pops Head Out Of Bus, Hits NJ Overpass, Dies

Yep, all related to trafficking across the borders. Okay, Medway is across county lines for me and the last one is about Derek Lovitch's home state, so I can see the connection.

Good article, really Bob.

I haven't been posting the links to my newspaper columns lately, but I have encountered a lot of Mainers who would like to know more about Campobello and Grand Manan. I just finished leading a second tour over to Grand Manan on Tuesday and the birding was fantastic…again.
