Hello All,
A few Blue-winged Teal, some Green-winged Teal, and Shorebirds in the rain at Sanford today, 4 Sept.2012. Also a Peregrine hunting the ponds.
Surprise was a Stilt Sandpiper (my first at Sanford, I believe) with 5 Lesser Yellowlegs feeding in shallow water in first central pond at gate.
Only 2 Semipalmated Sandpipers but Rain drove me out so I may have missed some shorebirds.
