Was hoping to photograph a Ring Billed Gull that I had seen here before, but it was not to be. While looking around though I was happy to spot a Greater Yellowlegs on the flats on the left.It was my first one so I was pretty happy. Took a while for it to turn so I could see the upturned bill.
There was also a Great Blue Heron fishing in the cove to the right, gulls(only Herring Gulls that I could see) on the rocks, and an Osprey glided overhead in the fading light. I had to leave before getting to scope out the woods unfortunately, as there was a lot of movement in there and some songs I did not recognize in addition to the Black Capped Chickadees, Blue Jays, and American Goldfinches.
