Hi all,

Pine Point was hopping this morning on the low tide in the fog, highlighted by Floridian counts of wading birds:
273 Snowy Egrets
77 Great Egrets
26 Great Blue Herons
21 Black-crowned Night-Herons
6 Little Blue Herons
1 presumed TRICOLORED HERON X SNOWY EGRET HYBRID (the extensively white-headed and white-winged adult)

Shorebird numbers were respectable, too, with:
397 Semipalmated Plovers
274 Semipalmated Sandpipers
78 Short-billed Dowitchers (inc FOF juveniles)
62 Black-bellied Plovers
51 Greater Yellowlegs
11 Least Sandpipers
10 "Eastern" Willets
4 White-rumped Sandpipers
1 Whimbrel
