Hi Carol. I'd guess AmericanTree. Eyebrow doesn't look white enough for the chipper. (This from a guy who called a tree sparrow a chipper here just two weeks ago!).

A Sparrow under our feeder today is confusing me. It might be the Song Sparrow that was in the yard earlier this month, but has not been heard or seen for a week. Or could it be one of the others with a red cap? The photo lacks the definite markers that I am able to use but others may see exactly what is needed. The bird disappeared almost immediately and the photo was taken during its exit from view. If you can help, it's at the blog: www.acadiabirds.wordpress.com
