As always, Bill is a great and super talented County birding host, and being out there with him was a blast.
Other highlights from a total 3 hours in the area included:
- 23 Am. Golden Plovers (pretty exhilarating!) just n. of the Conant Rd
- 1 Wilson's Snipe in Mars Hill (intown reservoir)
- decent "duckage" on Christina Reservoir (Gadwall, Ring-necks, others), plus another Merlin and a scattering of shorebirds
- nothing amazing at Trafton Reservoir
Best,
Craig K
