Just a reminder that isn't not actually legal to collect dead birds without a scientific collection permit. I encourage you to use your cell phones or cameras to get photo documentation; hopefully that will be convincing enough.

Oh, and if you are there, could you please collect any birds you find killed below windows and document any window strikes? The highly reflective glass here is very dangerous and single black "raptor" silhouettes offer minimal deterrence. This has been brought to LL Bean's attention before, and I plan on bringing it up again as one bird was killed this morning.
