Not exactly fallout conditions but some descent passerine birding at the Eastpoint Sanctuary today. The area beyond the "Kentucky Warbler Spot" (described in previous posts by Derek Lovitch et al.) produced the best action (incl. all three subject birds). Highlights as follows:
Connecticut Warbler x1 (nice looks at close range / a brown hooded juvi.)
Blue-winged Warbler x1 (a bit of a surprise given last nights northwesterly winds)
Philadelphia Vireo x2 (scolding me at an arms length... this triggered an impressive mob to come and check things out)
8 Warbler, 3 Vireo, & 3 Flycatcher species in total.
