[Maine-birds] coastal sightings - Orland and Sears Island this morning

Hi all -- worked my way to Portland today, with some roadside stops for long conference calls. First stop was the boat launch at Toddy Pond in Orland:

2 Belted Kingfisher
2 mating Mallards
1 R-t Hummer
2 Common Loon
1 G B Heron

Second stop for a call was Sears Island causeway and the northernmost tip of Sears Island. Indications of a considerable migrant fallout, but alas, I only had 15 minutes of time to grab as many sightings as I could:

1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
1 Scarlet Tanager
Warblers:
Blackpoll
Yellow
Common Yellowthroat
B-t Green

Sparrows:
Song
Chippie
White-throated

Raptor:
S-s Hawk (being considerably harassed by Am. Crows)

Best,
Craig K
