York County
On the 3rd, a CONNECTICUT WARBLER was banded on Appledore Island, part of the Isles of Shoals.
Highlights from Fort Foster in Kittery on the 2nd included a BAIRD'S SANDPIPER and a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER.
A MARBLED GODWIT continued throughout the week along the Basket Island Causeway at Hills Beach in Biddeford. A LITTLE GULL was also reported here on the 3rd.
The ponds at the Sanford Sewerage Plant held a juvenile RED-NECKED PHALAROPE on the 29th.
Greater Portland
Up to five 'WESTERN' WILLETS have been frequenting Pine Point in Scarborough. FORSTER'S TERNS were also reported here sporadically throughout the week.
A WILSON'S PHALAROPE was found off the Eastern Trail through the Scarborough Marsh on September 1st.
Midcoast
Two FORSTER'S TERNS were reported from Popham Beach State Park in Phippsburg on the 3rd.
Penobscot Bay
A BAIRD'S SANDPIPER was seen on the beach at the Lyman Morse boatyard in Thomaston on the morning of the 28th.
The MEW GULL that has been frequenting the roof or fields of Oceanside High School off Valley Street in Thomaston was last seen on August 29th.
Downeast
On the 31st, an adult LITTLE GULL was seen hawking flying ants from a yard in Eastport.
Northern Maine
An AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN continued to be seen at Lake Josephine in Easton this week.
