[Maine-birds] Popham Beach, Sep 03

Highlights from Late flood and High Slack this morn:

- 7 BW Teal
- 1 No. Harrier caused loafing peeps to take momentary flight; flock quickly returned.  It's a diff story when a Peregrine spooks them. In that case they leave forever.
- 2 Am Golden Plovers w/ 68 BBPlovers; initially on Seawall side
- 2 half-grown Piping Plovers remain
- Peep-of-the-day had to be White-rumped Sand - at least 40 here this morning
- 2 Forster's Terns drifted by and were soon swallowed up by fog as they headed offshore. Both adults, winter plum.
- Finally - 16 Gray Seals were spy-hopping just beyond the surf, in close view.  More were offshore w/ a large flock of eiders near Three Heron I.
