[Maine-birds] Popham Beach this morning

Here early for high slack.  3 Am Golden Plovers active, w/ 15 BBPlovers inactive.  Trying to get all three in one frame like herding cats.

As peeps (ca 250) began to populate the mud/algae flats in the borrow pit area, highlights were:

- 6 WR Sands
- 2 Dunlins
- 1 Stilt Sand (not my first for here, but only the third in last 8 years.)
- 1 SB Dowitcher
- 1 Merlin fly-over; only half the flock split.

At a secret signal, the entire bunch lifted in a high spiral, changed their call notes, and headed north, for the mudflats of Atkins Bay. Kennebec River.
