[Maine-birds] Essex Woods and Flat Bay

A short probe in Essex Woods this morning found 2 Blue-winged Teal among a multitude of Mallards and Black Ducks.  On the cattail side there were at least 4 Solitary Sandpipers and a pair of Least Sandpipers.  We heard a Wood Pewee calling from deep in the woods.

Back home on Flat Bay we saw 8 Whimbrel out on the mud flats in front of the house (east side of Flat Bay).
