The shorebirds are building in number. 165 Semisands included one flagged individual (yellow PK1) in a flock of 135 that stayed in the intertidal zone upper surf zone entire time.

didn't count Piping Plovers.
a young drake Black Scoter feeding in the rough surf w/ several eiders.
Alas, no loafing storm-tossed rarities today.
