As noted by others, especially Northward, much of yesterday's pulse of SONG SPARROWS seemed to move out overnight.
Today, along with the remaining Song Sparrows, there was a fair number of newly arrived SAVANNAH SPARROWS.
Among them were several IPSWITCH-TYPE Savannahs.
We had both Song and Savannah Sparrows singing this morning.
Also new on the island today:
more ROBINS;
a couple STARLINGS;
a lone MOURNING DOVE;
a few HERRING GULLS (apparently claiming nest territory).
Around the island yesterday and today:
flocks of COMMON MURRES;
medium large rafts of RAZORBILLS;
multiple groups of COMMON EIDERS;
several small flocks of LONG-TAILED DUCKS;
a few BLACK GUILLEMOTS ;
a few GREAT CORMORANTS;
