[Maine-birds] Sandhill Cranes

Hello,

This morning 4/1,9ish am, on my way to work, saw 2 Sandhill Cranes in a corn field in New Gloucester at the corner of Bald Hill Rd and Tobey Rd. There is still quite a bit of snow in the field, not sure what they are finding for food. I have seen them in this field before, but was surprised to see them with so much snow still on the ground. I guess all birds are on the move to summer habitat.
