[Maine-birds] Visit next week

Hello birders of Maine,

My name's Ian, I'm from North Carolina, and next week I'll be touring colleges in Lewiston, Waterville, and Bar Harbor while I'm on my spring break.  There are lots of bird I'm looking for while I'm in your state as well.  This includes the "mega-rarity" Surfbird in Biddeford, and Snowy Owl in Biddeford.  If anyone could please be kind as to tell me if there are any listservs, groups, etc. that I should be apart of for receiving news of the Surfbird and it's current whereabouts around the pool so finding the bird wouldn't be a total wild goose chase for me?
