8:40am today thru the kitchen window: Warbler with large bill, large black eye with no eye ring but a hint of thin line thru the eye. Blue-green back, grey wings lack wing bars, yellow (almost orange) face, yellow chest, belly and under the tail white. Overall coloration suggests first year female Prothonotary Warbler. Around noon Ken and Sandy Janes and I walked the yard without re-finding the bird.
Visitors welcome to look around 37 Mills Road, Cape Porpoise (Kennebunkport).
