The Hawkcount website came back online yesterday, however, there are still problems with posting to listservs so we have not been able to get our daily reports through.
In summary, with the lingering low pressure system over New England, the Bradbury Mountain count had been slow for most of the last few days. Andrew ended yesterday on a high note though with 153 raptors counted. The weather is looking much better for the near future for migrants of all flavors, so the hawkwatch could be quite good for the next few days. Our weekly summary is posted here to get a snapshot of the past week's count: http://www.freeportwildbirdsupply.com/bird_news.asp?id=2019#2019 . And, you can also go directly to the Hawkcount.org site and look at more detailed data for our site.
