[Maine-birds] Sidney birds

I had n. parula, chestnut sided (foy), yellow rumped, bt green, c. yellowthroat, and ovenbird this a.m. for warblers. Still missing redstart for local breeders.

We seem to have acquired a thrasher! It has been singing from the top of a maple just down the road from our house since Thursday last week. I hope it stays.

A wood thrush was a nice addition and it was fun to listen to the bittern galumphing from the wetland in the woods. It had to compete with the bobolink-savannah sparrow cacophany in the fields.

Yesterday I had foy yellow warblers, veery, and a n. oriole (or is it Baltimore again?).

On Sunday, we saw our foy scarlet tanager, red eyed vireo, and bt blue warblers.

Good birding,
Julia
