Pretty sure I had an Amer Redstart way up in the oaks all afternoon. With the help of The Warbler Guide (Stephenson and Whittle) seems it is an immature male(bc it was non-stop singing).
Nailed the undertail with dark tail band and yellow.
BTGreen, Pine, Blk&White, and maybe a Chestnut-side, immature. Was awakened at sunrise and serenaded this evening by the sublime song of the Hermit Thrush - but I'm not positive it isn't a Wood thrush. Cornell says Wood thrush is uncommon here, but that's what they listed for the Indigo Bunting, "uncommon" - PHOTO ATTACHED.
Prairie Warbler up at Mt A. Also a Rock Pidgeon!
May is aMayzing.
