[Maine-birds] Chuck-wills-widow report, Friendship

Ted Mohlie sent a good description of a Chuck-wills-widow flushed along Deaver Road in Friendship 21 May. Mid-late May is prime time for reports of this species overshooting into Maine (and one recently on Star Island, New Hampshire). There are at least 9 previous records for the state, plus a handful of second-hand reports. Nearly all are from coastal sites, with most records from 12 May to 3 June. This is a species reviewed by the Maine Bird Records Committee:  https://sites.google.com/site/mainebirdrecordscommittee/official-list-of-maine-birds/cwwi
