[Maine-birds] Mergansers between schools

On my way between schools today, I had three juvenile common mergansers in a farm pond on the Shepherd Road in Sidney. Continuing with birds in strange places, I then had a great blue heron fly along the Quaker Road in Sidney, which does not much in the way of heron habitat. Later, I got out of my car at the Bean School and had four killdeer fly over heading south.
