[Maine-birds] Biddeford Pool and Parsons Beach

After putting in a few hours on the Biddeford Summer Tanager without and luck, I birded around Biddeford Pool (except Southpoint :( too bad ). At Stonecliff Thickets beach I had a flyover Lapland Longspur, my first Snow Bunting of fall and a few lingering Black-bellied Plovers. At East Point Sanctuary I had an Orange-crowned Warbler in a small flick of Yellow-rumps. Winter ducks and grebes have officially arrived in numbers along Ocean Ave.

This afternoon at Parsons Beach In Kennebunk, I had a Common Goldeneye, lots of Buffleheads, a pair of Greater Scaup and many Red-breasted Mergansers, along with good numbers of sea ducks, and both loons just off the beach. Lingering late-ish TENNESSEE WARBLER, HOUSE WREN, and CHIPPING SPARROW, 32 Black-bellied Plovers, along with another Orange-crowned Warbler and another Snow Bunting rounded out the afternoon.
