[Maine-birds] York County sightings (Nov 26-27)...

Here are some highlights from yesterday and today:

11/26 (Sunday)
...29+ BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, 2 RUDDY TURNSTONE, 1 RED KNOT, and 75+
DUNLIN at the Basket Island Causeway, Hills Beach, Biddeford

...a flyover flock of RED CROSSBILLS (identified as eastern type 10 by
Matt Young at the Cornell Lab) at California Fields Wildlife Area off
Plains Rd., Hollis

...1 continuing YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at the Sanford Lagoons; I
observed the bird near the visitor parking area foraging at the
mulched base of deciduous and coniferous trees and working around
various buildings picking insects out of window frames, gutters, light
fixtures, etc.
