Visitors:
1 visitor, on her 21st annual birthday hike up Bradbury Mt. Happy Birthday Lindsey!

Weather:
Hello muddah, hello faddah. Here I am at, Pownal propah. Pownal's very, entertaining. And they say we'll see some birds when it stops raining. I dragged my feet for a few minutes too long this morning as I was hemming and hawing as to whether I should bother going up. There was rain on the doorstep according to the radar but it looked like there was a chance it could track in a manner that would keep me on the SE edge of it. I was a couple minutes late to open but in hindsight I don't think I missed much. Rain filled in and I eventually left a little before the top of the hour. Rain continued for most of the day, letting up only briefly in the early afternoon. Winds in the morning were light, from the SE and visibility was fair. The count never reopened.

Raptor Observations:
No birds were spotted from the summit. A Broad-wing was seen moving positions from tree to tree when I returned to the parking area. Saving that one for tomorrow, hopefully.

Non-raptor Observations:
Only a Blue-headed Vireo was heard today for a moment short in time.

Predictions:
I'm hopeful for tomorrow. Temps should be warmer, maybe into the 60's which would be nice. Clouds should clear out and start to dry up in the early morning hours. I'm hoping it isn't a completely cloudless day for counting purposes but the sun and warmth will be nice. Winds may be NNW and NW but should be light. I hope birds feel like flying tomorrow because I feel like counting them.
