Highlights: Peregrine flushing flocks of peeps very near us, huge
number of Snowy Egrets all clumped together near the old duck blind,
and Ron's Pectoral Sandpiper.
Weskeag Marsh, Knox, US-ME
Sep 3, 2012 12:41 PM - 3:04 PM
Protocol: Stationary
Observers: Myself, my husband Paul Doiron, Ron Joseph, Fred Yost
Comments: Birded from parking area, then from observation deck at
end of trail north of the parking area. As the water ebbed, several
flocks of peeps shifted among the pannes--mostly semipalmated
sandpipers, we presumed, but not close enough to be sure.
