[Maine-birds] Cherryfield goose update

I finally got out to look for the Pink-footed Goose about 3:30 PM. A flock of Canada Geese was back in the field where I saw the PF goose this morning, but it was not visible this time. However, at least half the flock was hidden from my vantage point (they were visible from the road at a location with no place to park, that's how I could see there were more birds).

I spoke to the landowners, who gave me permission to walk onto the property. I'll do that tomorrow AM, check out the whole flock, and post the result. If the PF goose is still there, the landowners have given permission for parking. Details to follow, should the bird still be there.

In other Cherryfield birding news, Sandy and I have been delighted to have as many as 18-20 Evening Grosbeaks around the feeder off and on during the day.
