[Maine-birds] Long tailed ducks

The beach at Reid state park was teeming with 100 (more or less) Long Tailed Ducks yesterday at 3pm, rising tide, almost high. What a sight!

Also, still have a pair of Cardinals at my bird feeder in Harpswell. And a Blue Jay just skidded across the ice in my bird bath! Just added warm water to thaw it out. Charlie Hewson
