Re: [Maine-birds] Western Kingbird - Biddeford, 11/4

I'm pretty sure I saw the Western Kingbird in Biddeford Pool around 11:30 today. Unfortunately, it lifted off, gained altitude and headed off to the southwest without looking back. Last I saw it was over the pool, gaining altitude and vanishing fast.

A few other interesting birds included 2 Lapland Longspurs, flyover Red and White-winged Crossbills and a flock of about 40 Canada Geese sitting on the ocean. First time I've seen Canada Geese actually in the ocean...

We just had a Western Kingbird along Mile Stretch Road at Biddeford Pool. The bird is actively foraging between the pink house and Hattie's.

Good birding,
