I would love to know more about what this Cormorant thinks it is doing?
There seem to be tufts at the sides of its head. Those feet! If I hadn't seen it swimming I would have suspected that it was a hoax of some sort. And the Canada Goose, what was she thinking on her nest? And the male seemed completely undisturbed in his guard position on the shore by the road. I blocked traffic in both direction for a few minutes while I took the photos from the car.

I'd love to know more; is it an adult bird?
