[Maine-birds] Osprey, Bald Eagle and Fish on the Grill

Some years back I was in Bremen with Project Puffin barbecuing on the lawn. One of the Osprey pair from Hog Island came screaming overhead carrying a huge mackerel. Hot on its tail was a Bald Eagle looking for an easy fish dinner.

Osprey drops the mackerel, Bald Eagle misses it, fish lands on lawn and was promptly gutted out and added to the grill.

Yum!
