[Maine-birds] Re: (Maine Birds) Mount Desert Island Birds: Common Merganser males

Hello ,
Among the numerous elver fykes two male C. Merganser.  It amazes me that any elvers make it into the creek here. So many nets for such a valuable resource. Also a vitally important resource for  Bald Eagle, Cormorant and other diving ducks.

Comments:     Graham and I  on our way to school noticed 2 male Common Merganser with 4 C. Geese.

Common Merganser (Mergus merganser)  2
Herring Gull (Larus argentatus)  3
