This year we had a male and a female Indigo Bunting coming to the feeders for the latter half of May and a few days of June. Otherwise we have had a single male at the feeders in two of seven previous summers, both times in mid-to-late June. Also, 3-4 years ago I saw one male in Harrington, not near a feeder.

Seems unusual and per eBird this is a rare species for this neck of the woods. Does anyone know? Also found a pair of Bobolinks in the field next to Curtis Cove Beach. Male singing in a tree right at beach's edge.Good birding,Laurie Yntema
