Re: [Maine-birds] East Blue Hill Indigo Bunting

We have had Indigo Buntings at the feeders for 3 of the last 7 summers, including a m/f pair this May. Also, I saw one in Harrington 3-4 years ago that was not near a feeder.

Was surprised to find what I believe is a female Indigo Bunting at my feeder this morning.  In fact, she is back at my feeder as I compose this!  Seems unusual and per eBird this is a rare species for this neck of the woods.  Does anyone know?

Also found a pair of Bobolinks in the field next to Curtis Cove Beach.  Male singing in a tree right at beach's edge.

Good birding,
