Re: [Maine-birds] Veery at Essex Street Marsh

The swampy areas adjoining the Watchmaker Street side of the Essex Street Marsh trails are actually an intown hotspot for breeding Veeries.  During a late afternoon walk there last week I gave up counting on the number of singing Veeries I heard alongside one small segment of the trail...   20+ wouldn't be exaggerating!

This morning I added this veery to my first ever sightings list.
A bonus to have gotten a photo!

Cheers,
