The middle trail, the one that goes to the beach, goes through a very nice "migrant trap"-type area. I was there this AM, unfortunately only briefly, and saw Black-and-White, American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, and a first-ever Mourning Warbler (female). The latter was ID'd by an experienced birder friend who is visiting, and seconded by me after some time with the field guide.
-- There were also several Red-breasted Nuthatch and several other birds flitting around that we did not get good looks at. I would really have liked to stay longer; but I'll be back there ASAP.
