on Friday two hooded mergansers, and a ring necked duck swam past, and the wood ducks reappeared briefly. On Saturday saw the ospreys for the first time and on Sunday watched them dive. loons calling too--
today the regular birds are in pre-storm mode moving in and out at the feeders (they always seem to pick up the pace when storms are coming) and with the mallards coming up into the yard to check their usual sources.Maine birds mailing list
