The full Loop Road opened this morning but the road up Cadillac Mt. is still closed. Most small ponds, beaver ponds, and streams are open but the large lakes, Eagle, Echo, and Jordan Pond are still ice covered. Rotten ice with some open leads but still 90-95% iced over. There are still snow drifts across hiking trails in shaded woods and northern slopes.
