I was in Buxton today and saw a phoebe fly clumsily, bump lightly into a stove pipe, and then cling onto a window screen. Then, while still holding the screen, it slowly drooped backwards until it was hanging upside down like a bat. ...? Poor thing. It flew off after a few minutes.
