[Maine-birds] Friday, 2/12/15, 12:0pm at USM: “Bird Conservation Research in Eastern Russia – The Ecology of the Endangered Scaly-sided Merganser”.

This Friday, February 12 at 12 PM: Please join BRI and Russian scientists, Diana Solovyeva and Sergey Vartanyan at the USM Portland Science Building (70 Falmouth Street) for a presentation on "Bird Conservation Research in Eastern Russia – The Ecology of the Endangered Scaly-sided Merganser".

 

Diana will present her ongoing studies with the scaly-sided merganser. She is doing some pretty fascinating work and is the leading expert for bird studies in Russia.
