[Maine-birds] York County Sightings (Feb 3-7)...

Here are some highlights from the past week in York County:

2/3 (Wednesday)
...Ruffed Grouse (4!), Belted Kingfisher (2) and Carolina Wren along the perimeter path at the Sanford Lagoons
...Great Black-backed Gull feeding on a dead Thick-billed Murre at Wells Beach

2/4 (Thursday)
...continuing Yellow-rumped Warblers (2) at Well Harbor Community Park (the place is still loaded with Bayberry fruit)

2/6 (Saturday)
...Belted Kingfisher on Kennebunk River from Colony Beach, Kennebunkport
...Harlequin Ducks (5), Eastern Bluebirds (4) and Yellow-rumped Warbler along Parsons Way (Ocean Ave.), K'port
...Purple Sandpipers (40) and Bald Eagles (2-adults) at East Point Sanctuary, Biddeford Pool

2/7 (Sunday)
...Savannah Sparrows (2) at end of Granite Point Rd., Biddeford
...King Eider (imm. male, opposite 1st St.) and Great Cormorants (13 on Beach Island) at high tide off Ocean Ave., Biddeford Pool
...continuing Barrow's Goldeneye (adult male) with Common Goldeneyes (4) on Saco River viewed from Diamond Riverside Park, Irving St., Saco
...Bonaparte's Gull at Colony Beach, K'port
...Razorbills (7), Eastern Bluebirds (7) and Yellow-rumped Warblers (2) along Parsons Way (Ocean Ave.), K'port
