[Maine-birds] MACHIAS SEAL ISLAND REPORT

A couple circuits of the island yesterday produced the following sightings.
 
003 COMMON LOON
005 COMMON EIDER
004 RED-BREASTED MERGANSER
035 LONG TAILED DUCK
480 RAZORBILL
015 MURRE (sp)
107 HERRING GULL
003 GREAT BLACK BACKED GULL
007 ICELAND GULL
100+ BLACK LEGGED KITTIWAKE
005 GREAT CORMORANT
004 SONG SPARROW
001 SNOW BUNTING
002 RAVEN
001 BALD EAGLE
032 HARLEQUIN DUCK
042 PURPLE SANDPIPER
 

**** There are likely 7 Song Sparrows on the island but I could only find 4. 
           Just too many hiding places among the acres of boulders.
