I stopped by the Viles Arboretum in Augusta for a little bit this morning (5/13) and enjoyed a variety of expected spring returning birds but was particularly interested to see two Bohemian Waxwings (latest certainly I have ever seen in Maine) in the tree right behind the main building.
Not that I am expecting it, but I guess we should keep an eye out just in case they decide to do something really crazy and hang around long enough to consider nesting!
