Visitors:
56 people visited the hawkwatch, including a Webalo troop from Freeport/Pownal.

Weather:
Skies were overcast, and light winds were mainly from the east. Mist along the horizon began to impact visibility about two hours into the count, and this lasted throughout the day.

Raptor Observations:
It was another very slow day, with five migrating raptors counted. A low Osprey flying over the summit was a nice highlight. Local Broad-winged Hawks were displaying, and Turkey Vultures and adult Bald Eagles were cruising around.

Non-raptor Observations:
The Barred Owl called several times today. 40 bird species were observed.

Species deemed migrating:
2 duck sp.
2 Mallards
2 Northern Rough-winged Swallows
1 Barn Swallow

Predictions:
Tomorrow is likely to be overcast in the morning, with rain potentially ending the count early in the afternoon. Hopefully a few birds will move through early in the day, but it will probably be slow. Moderate to strong south winds are expected, becoming strongest in the afternoon.
